Lavender Celebration first started at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ in 2010. This annual event is a partnership between the LGBT Center, Pride Alumni Network, and the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Alumni Association aimed at recognizing the experiences and contributions of graduating LGBTQ+ students of the university and its affiliated schools.
The , which is open to all, will take place on April 25th from 6-8 p.m., in the Linsalata Alumni Center. Register soon before the spots fill up!
The event typically features an address from the President of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, remarks from a student speaker, the awarding of certificates to and cording of graduates, and the awarding of the Douglas W. Nock Endowed Scholarship, the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Pride LGBT Ohio Leadership Award, the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Pride Outstanding Student Award, and the Prism Award.
