Project Management

The University Technology Project Management Office (PMO) is the liaison between IT and the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ community for all technology related projects. The PMO provides an enterprise-wide approach to identify, prioritize, track, and successfully execute a technology portfolio of initiatives and projects aligned with ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s strategic goals and plans of academic and administrative units as determined by IT and University leadership.

The PMO staff collaborate in cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives within scope, budget and timeline. The Project Managers assigned are responsible for the following:

  • Define the scope and deliverables
  • Coordinate with vendors contracted to complete the implementation 
  • Identify the work and resources required to achieve delivery of the technology
  • Maintain any key deliverables associated with the project
  • Manage project risks and issues including mitigation plans and escalation paths
  • Assist in outlined testing, training and change management plans
