The Chemistry Mass Spectrometry User Facility features a new Bruker AutofleX maX Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-of-Flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometer. This instrument allows for fast and easy analysis of molecules over a wide range of masses, including: natural products, transition metal complexes, peptide, lipid or glycan conjugates, synthetic polymers and proteins. The facility also includes a Thermo GC/MS and two Electrospray Ion Trap MS that can be used to do tandem MS. One of Electrospray Ion Trap MS can be connected to a HPLC to perform HPLC/MS. Potential users are encouraged to contact our engineer to get trained.
