What to Expect

Whether you're studying anthropology, mathematics, pediatrics, or one of our other supported programs, you'll have the opportunity to pursue your academic (and professional) objectives through our certificate program's diverse educational activities in global health.

While specific certificate requirements depend on your chosen discipline (and department), you'll be required to complete a standard course on the fundamentals of global health to understand concepts and vocabulary that will facilitate meaningful communication with your peers across various disciplines.

You'll also take two to three additional interdisciplinary courses related to international and health issues, such as medical Spanish, to reinforce your skills and promote a broad understanding of global health issues. Or, you can opt to complete a project with the faculty's permission.
