What to Expect

You can complete your 30-credit-hour degree in two semesters.

Or, you can choose to stay up to two years to complete 39 credit hours in a specialization. Designed to give you additional depth in your selected area of finance, Weatherhead School of Management offers four STEM-eligible specializations beyond the core requirements:

  • Financial Big Data Analytics (STEM Eligible)
  • Corporate Financial Analytics (STEM Eligible)
  • Risk Management Analytics (STEM Eligible)

Furthermore, our new Bloomberg Lab will put you on the cutting edge of investment-related experiential learning, providing you access to the same data, research and technology used by investment professionals.

The curriculum at Weatherhead gave me a deeper understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of financial systems. The combination of theoretical and practical learning I gained from the program has led me to pursue a career in M&A.

Beyond the Classroom

Our core courses will provide you with the tools and techniques that build a strong foundation for a career in finance. And you can put your classroom learnings to work when you get the chance to use big data under the supervision of corporate executives and potential employers. By leveraging the executives’ vast industry and financial knowledge, you’ll gain real experience in areas such as digital banking, fixed-income hedging, and random foresting modeling. Better yet, corporate seminars will enable you to network and learn from executives in areas such as private equity, REITs, financial analytics and more.
