What to Expect
You can complete our program in two years if studying full time. Here, you’ll complete a minimum of 30 credit hours, taking classes on topics such as advanced engineering mathematics, probability, numerical differential equations, and cryptology, to name a few.
During your program, you’ll have the option to complete a comprehensive oral examination in three areas, or substitute that requirement with an expository or original thesis. If you choose the latter route, you’ll defend your thesis through an oral examination, during which you’ll be questioned about the thesis and related topics.
Join the (MGSA), an organization of all master’s- and doctoral-level students at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ who are studying statistics, applied mathematics and pure mathematics. MGSA hosts annual activities to bring you together with your peers.
