Bachelor of Science, Master of Science

About the Program

Take your engineering skills to astronomical heights with a combined bachelor and master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Case School of Engineering at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, one of the top research universities in the country.

Aerospace engineers design, develop and test aircraft and spacecraft—and our highly ranked program will prepare you to do just that. This dual degree tackles everything from the integration of data analytics to the dynamics of rotating machinery, additive manufacturing, robotics, combustion, heat transfer and more. You'll graduate ready to develop machines and aircraft that help society operate faster, better, safer and more efficiently.

What to Expect

You can finish your bachelor’s and master’s in five years, completing a few years of your undergraduate program before adding in graduate courses your senior year to count toward both degrees.

Throughout both programs, you’ll have access to progressive and cutting-edge facilities at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€”and you’ll be mentored by renowned faculty who will support you as you delve into concepts such as aircraft design, aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, combustion science and more.

They’ll prepare you for careers supporting reusable launch vehicles, high-speed transport, human exploration and development of space, and even microelectromechanical sensors and control systems for advanced flight.

Beyond the Classroom

Looking to expand your knowledge outside of the classroom? You can create prototypes and fabricate large-scale models at Sears think[box], ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s renowned innovation center. The 50,000-square-foot, seven-story building serves as an epicenter of innovation on campus—and it offers all of the resources you need to transform your eureka moments into market-ready products, with top-of-the-line prototyping equipment, legal support and business advice.

And, you can spend your time researching or completing a co-op at industry-leading institutions in Cleveland, such as NASA Glenn Research Center, Parker Hannifin and Boeing. In fact, many NASA Glenn research scientists also teach in our program, and our students regularly assist on their projects.
